Depo Provera Side Effects

In the largest clinical trial of over 3,900 women, the following additional Depo Provera side effects were reported by more than 5% of subjects:

Abdominal pain or discomfort Dizziness Headache Weakness or fatigue Nervousness

The following Depo Provera side effects were reported by 1% to 5% of the women:

Decreased libido Leg cramps Pelvic pain Backache Breast pain Hair loss and/or increased hair on the face or body Depression Change of appetite BloatingSkin Rash or spotty darkening of the skin Nausea
